Archaeology Summer Camp (4 Days) – Dalkey GAA

Our week-long Summer camps provide a new and fascinating alternative to sports-themed clubs and other after-school activities for children aged 7 – 12 years old. Is your child a curious explorer with a thirst for knowledge about their past? Why not let them delve into the fascinating world of archaeology as we introduce children to the mysteries and adventures of our past in a fun, practical and hands-on way.

Our camps special ingredient for success is our form of active learning encouraging your child to learn how our ancestors adapted to their natural environment. By teaching children to use simple tools and raw materials we harness your children’s desire to learn more about ancient crafts and technologies in past societies. Our workshop activities utilise these ancient skills creating an understanding of the greatest innovations and civilisations the world has ever seen.

We use an ‘Indiana Jones’ approach to ensure your child gets a balance of time, outdoors and indoors. As well as taking part in their very own excavations and exciting activity workshops, children will also arrive home with an abundance of new and quirky knowledge about their ancient ancestors.
