Exploring the Past with Our Future

The School of Irish Archaeology is Ireland’s first archaeology school for children and young people. Since 2011, we have introduced thousands of students, families and communities to Ireland’s rich heritage through hands-on learning experiences. Whether running an archaeology camp, visiting a school, delivering a mini-dig excavation or leading a heritage tour, our goal is simple: to make Ireland’s past engaging, memorable and accessible.

Week-long and seasonal camps designed for curious children who love to dig, create and discover the past through real archaeological activities.

A mobile excavation experience centred on a Viking house, delivering unforgettable hands-on learning directly to your school or event.

Interactive, curriculum-focused workshops that bring archaeology to life through real artefacts, excavation and ancient skills.

Expert-led tours to sites and monuments that connect people to Ireland’s past through archaeology, storytelling and real historical landscapes.
