Our Easter camps provide a new and fascinating alternative to sports-themed camps and other school-break activities for children aged between 7 and 12 years old. If your child is a curious explorer with a thirst for knowledge about their past, why not let them try the School of Irish Archaeology? Our camps are run all year round, and they introduce children to the mysteries and adventures of our past in a fun, practical, and hands-on way.
Due to current restrictions, we are hosting online Zoom Easter Camps this year. This is an alternative format to what we are used to, but we can ensure that it will be fun for everyone involved.
Activity Packs will be posted out to each participant prior to the camp. The weeks activities are broken down as follows:
Day 1: Introduction to Archaeology
Day 2: First Farmers – Neolithic Clay Pot Making
Day 3: Ancient Crafts & Technologies – Coins and Draw-String Pouch Making
Day 4: Viking & Medieval Weaponry – Viking Seax Making
