Archaeology Camps

Our camps provide a new and fascinating alternative to sports-themed camps and other school-break activities for children aged between 7 and 12 years old. If your child is a curious explorer with a thirst for knowledge about their past, why not let them try the School of Irish Archaeology? Our camps are run all year round, and they introduce children to the mysteries and adventures of our past in a fun, practical and hands-on way.

All of our camps have a good mix of indoor and outdoor when possible. However, due to the nature of Irish weather and adverse conditions, outdoors at times is not always possible.

We have many locations across Dublin including Harold’s Cross, Malahide, Sandyford, Dalkey and Drumcondra plus we have started expanding nationwide to Monaghan & Tipperary. Do you want a camp in your location? Why not contact us to find out more at info@sia.ie

For more details on booking our camps, including times and what to bring, scroll to the bottom of the page to see our FAQs section.

My son (aged 9) attended the camp this past August and thoroughly enjoyed himself. He had fun, learned a lot, and says he would like to go again next year. After he went to a Big Dig workshop last summer at Rathmines Library, he started his own archaeological dig in our back garden!
